On Monday June 6, 2016, Marmon Engineered Wire & Cable (Marmon EWC – Hartford, CT) participated as the Presenting Sponsor for the 18th annual golf classic hosted by Junior Achievement of Southwest New England.
The Junior Achievement Classic has earned a well-deserved reputation as the premier golf event in Central New England.The JA Classic provides top business and community leaders the opportunity to entertain their best clients and customers while supporting JA’s mission.
JA focuses on making students financially responsible, prepared for the workforce, entrepreneurially savvy and empowered to own their economic success.
According to Louis Golden (JA President and Chief Executive Officer), “This annual event generates the largest amount of charitable income in support of our activities promoting scholarship and achievement for young men women. We have averaged about $135K per year over the last few years at this event, and the significant support from companies like Marmon EWC is most welcome.”
